Supporting Single Parents
Kim (9 year old girl). Her parents divorced when she was only one year old, and she has been living with her dad ever since. As her dad has to take care of her alone, he has no source of income and has been struggling financially ever since. Even then, she enjoys dancing and tae-kwon-do, so through the K-Foundation, we have been financially supporting her for her to continue to attend tae-kwon-do school.
Choi (9 year old boy). Ever since his parents divorced, he has been living with his mom and his sister. His mom has had multiple health issues and so their family has had no source of income. * * Choi also has a serious case of atopy and needs medical treatment. He also wishes to learn to play the piano, so through the K-Foundation, we have been financially supporting him to receive piano lessons.
Mah (11 year old girl). Ever since her parents divorced, she has been living with her dad and her sister. As her dad has to take care of both his daughters alone, he doesn’t earn enough of an income for them to live a comfortable life. As she enjoys tae-kwon-do, through the K-Foundation, we have been financially supporting her to attend tae-kwon-do school.
Pak (8 year old boy). Since the passing of his dad, he has been living with his mom, his two sisters, and his brother. As a single mother of four, she has no time for a job, and therefore his family is living without a source of income. He truly enjoys being with his friends and wishes to live a normal childhood life, and dreams of being a policeman one day.
