Future City
Specification and Material: Water-based Acrylic on Canned Paper in Section 4Descripti on of the work – In the distant future, the city of Earth is as we expected Due to overcrowding, industrialization, and urbanization, Suffer from persistent pollution and lack of oxygen. But humans demonstrate their ability to solve it with technology. I was looking at the huge baobab trees that actually exist in Africa. I imagined the curiosity about humans living in the future city. Growing a giant baobab tree on a giant dome-shaped spaceship above the city. It depicts the future of using it as a vacation spot and receiving high-quality oxygen. Future humans, contrary to their concerns, are based on more advanced technology than they are now, I will build a beautiful city in my own way and live happily. I am a human being in the distant future. I don’t think pessimistic about t he future of the Earth. It’s just that environmental destruction, animal extinction, war and starvation are the reality that’s happening. From now on, everyone will have strong responsibilities and obligations to protect all of these things. It is important to realize as soon as possible. So drawing a broken earth can be a stimulus. I imagine a richer and more beautiful future, and with that, I want to give people a paradoxical stimulus.

– I always imagine another me wandering around in my head.
My mind is sometimes as complicated as a maze, and some days are too simple
It is also a square soccer stadium.
Whether the situation in my head changes depending on my mood and condition
It doesn’t matter if all this comes from an order in the head or what’s right.
I wanted to paint another image of myself walking in my head.
In the Flower Garden
Specification and Material: Water-based acrylic on Canvas
I see many flowers blooming in the flower bed.
Even though there exists a mix of colors and shapes,
No combination of the two was awkward and existed naturally.
Humans constantly imitate nature for expressing their feelings.
And in the garden where flowers of various and irregular fractured images lie,
I imagine myself resting comfortably.

Lucky Touch
Specification and Material: Water-based Acrylic on Canteen (verse 4)
Where does luck come from?
Does it come on its own?
Or do I make it?
Even in the midst of difficult times, I don’t lose hope.
And so I believe that if you try, good luck will naturally be on your side.
Cherished Memories

Music
Specification and Material: Water-based Acrylic +
Object on Section 4 Canteen
Description of the work
– I can’t think of a life without music.
Can it be called music only if it is played with an instrument?
My voice, my heartbeat, my gestures, my breathing…
Everything is a piece of music and rhythm.
An inner wound, a band and a pill that wraps around it
But my own voice radiates out through my eyes, not through my mouth.
What am I thinking about and what kind of musical sensibility is coming out of me?
It’s a picture that I thought hard about.
Horse Machine
Size: 16″ X 20″
Materials: Acrylic paints and ink pen on illustration board
In modern society, direct relationships between people are gradually disappearing, and the non-face-to-face situation has worsened due to the corona pandemic.
The videos and images delivered to people through the media are sometimes wrapped in beautiful-looking images, but in reality, they are merely virtual images experienced in the digital world rather than experiencing and touching natural objects.
Through this work of mechanized expression of a horse’s head, I tried to criticize this phenomenon.
A Bird
Size: 20″ X 16″
Materials: Acrylic paints and ink pen on illustration board
In modern society, people are gradually losing direct contact with nature.
People’s lives have a great impact on the ecosystem.
When the natural environment or living environment is polluted and damaged due to human activities, this is called environmental pollution.
Birds are a representative animals whose population disappears due to environmental pollution.
Once an ecosystem is destroyed, it is difficult to restore it and requires a lot of time and effort. Through this work, which depicts a mechanized bird, I wanted to show the importance of our efforts to not pollute the environment in our daily life and the importance of our continuous human efforts to restore the destroyed ecosystem.
Sad Marilyn
Size: 16″ X 20″
Materials: Acrylic paints and ink pen on illustration board
Marilyn Monroe is an American actress, singer and one of the greatest film stars of the 20th century.
At one time she was the world’s most famous photographed woman and an iconic sex symbol and film icon of the 1950s.
Monroe won many fans for her naive and clumsy girl’s femininity and sensuality, which, unfortunately, suffered a sudden and unfortunate death.
Through this work, I expressed the duality of a tragic and unfortunate actress that modern people only know superficially.
Her face is both smiling and crying at the same time and has a glossy structure that makes it attractive to the public.
Lion Head
Size: 16″ X 20″
Materials: Acrylic paints and ink pen on illustration board
In modern society, the public is experiencing anthropomorphic animals such as lion characters through media.
In particular, the appearance of the lion in the animation “The Lion King”, which I liked as a child, was very attractive to me. However, the lions I have seen in zoos and safaris have the wildness of animals, unlike the anthropomorphic lions.
Through this work, I visualized the wild characteristics of the lion, the king of animals, which modern people only know superficially, and the duality of commercialized animals such as lions in animation.
As a result, I tried to criticize this phenomenon through the process of mechanically representing the lion’s head.
Man In Sorrow
Size: 14″ X 18″
Materials: Mixed media on illustration board
The most important cause among the problems of alienation ofm odern people is the phenomenon of human altercation due to the information technology and machine civilization. As we entered the era of the 4th industrial revolution, humans enjoyed material abundance and convenience, but on the other hand, machines and information communication media desgined for convenience in human life made humans rather alienated from humanity. Indiscriminate information on the Internet and various contents shared through SNS platforms make it defined as a superficial and meaningless relationship, rather than a face-to-face connection between humans. Through this work, I visualized the human suffering in this modern society as a mechanized figure.
Lincoln
Size: 14″ X 18″
Materials: Mixed media on illustration board
Abraham Lincoln is the 16th President of the United States and a great leader who led the emancipation of black slaves. Although he was America’s most famous president and a great leader who won the Civil War, he had to go through many failures and setbacks before he became president. He suffered psychologically from depression throughout his life and eventually died abruptly after being assassinated with a pistol by the opposition. Through this work, I expressed the tragic side of Abraham Lincoln that present people only know superficially. His positive heroic political achievements and the dark tragic personal history of his life are expressed through contrasting colors.
Charging Bull
Size: 18″ X 14″
Materials: Mixed media on illustration board
In modern society, the general public is experiencing wild animals such as bulls through zoos and the media. Also on farms, bulls and horses are artificially bred and slaughtered by humans. However, in nature, bulls are wild and capable of maintaining their natural lifestyle. Through this work, I visualized the meaning of the bull that modern people know as a mechanized tool away from nature. As a result, I tried to criticize the phenomenon of human cruelty to animals through the process of mechanically expressing the appearance of a bull.

Soccer
Size: 20″ x 24″
Materials: Acrylic painting on canvas.
This painting represents the passion that I have for soccer.
The bright colors in the background express the excitement that I feel when playing
while the intricate designs on the side of the depiction of my body
represent the internal transformation
I undergo when I am on the field.
Participating in a team sport that emphasizes concentration and cooperation
even in the most stressful moments of commotion has strengthened my character
and developed my sense of resilience as well as camaraderie for my teammates.
